The Ibiza 5’s tournament will take place June 13th-20th 2009, in San Antonio, Ibiza. Teams from across the country will go head to head in a laidback tournament, that’s more about the participation than the search for victory (however winning never hurt anyone either!). The 5 a Side competition will be played in the historic San Antonio Stadium, which is located 5 minutes walk from the top of the West End. Games will take place Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 5-8pm, so we won’t push you too hard, but the football will be a welcome chance to sweat out the toxins and ready you for another night ahead (although there is a bar at the stadium but we never told you!).

After 3 days of football you’ll be easing away the guilty conscience of whatever the rest of the week’s had in store, and of course you’ll have a quality time with banter between teams reaching fever pitch! No tournament would be without a Skill School and Crossbar challenge, so brush up your best moves and get practicing those punts from the half-way line. There’ll be plenty of prizes on offer throughout and trophies will be presented to the best teams and players at the Awards Evening at the end of the week, with a few wooden spoon prizes thrown in for good measure!
